Microblading Leicester
Are you look for the ultimate brow treatment to save you some valuable time, no more pencil and no more plucking? Microblading is the solution for you – a semi-permanent eyebrow crafted with extremely fine, natural looking hair strokes, precisely inserted into the skin to mimic a natural looking eyebrow or a shape to your desire.
Also known as semi-permanent eyebrows or eyebrow embroidery, Microblading is a specialist technique used to create or redefine eyebrows using a specialist blade to precisely insert pigment into the skin, miming the look, shape and feel of your natural brow.
This is the perfect option for those that have loss or thinning of hair, light-coloured, or over-plucked eyebrows. Microblading can also be a great option if you have alopecia or have previously suffered from cancer, allowing you to regain your realistic 3d eyebrows. Microblading may be used to shape, improve, enhance or to simply create definition where hairs may be thin or absent.
At Cosmetology Hub in Leicester I will discuss shapes, sizes and colours to compliment the clients skin and face complexion, tailoring to preferences where requested. We like to ensure you are 100% satisfied.
All microblading treatments are done using sterile and disposable tools, and pigments are of the highest standard. A test patch is required 48 hours prior to treatment.

PhiBrows
Are you looking for the best shaped eyebrows to match your face? Phibrows is the most prestigious microblading technique recognised worldwide. PhiBrows produces natural, flawless results by utilising a mathematical golden ratio. They use the best pigments to suit all hair colours and are incredibly durable in the skin, this ensures you have longer lasting brows.
The highest standards of microblading, Phibrows Microblading, uses face morphology and the mathematically derived golden intersection, phi.1618, for ultimate perfection and symmetry. Phibrows have their own pigments engineered for defined, long lasting brows.
The shape of your eyebrow is calculated according to face morphology and the golden intersection, phi1618. This enables me to calculate and shape an accurate template of your eyebrow according to your facial structure allowing for better symmetry, shape or fullness to your brow. During the shaping process, Phibrows acknowledges some individual muscles around the eye may affect symmetry, and addresses this by taking various positions with clients’ eyes closed to ensure your muscle is relaxed, any alterations according to your preferences can then be made. Finally, the pigments are inserted to mimic the natural direction of hair growth achieving a hyper-realistic eyebrow. The results are truly sensational!
To ensure you get the most out of your brow, Phibrows encourages a great guide for post-treatment aftercare. This will be discussed and shared with you during the consultation and on the treatment day.

Powder Brows
Commonly referred to as Ombré brows, powder brows uses a combination of specialist dots and shading to create and enhance a powder filled eyebrow. It’s non-natural appearance displays a make-up look and fill to your brow.
Despite its’ similarities, it differentiates from Microblading, whereas Microblading insert pigments into the skin, Powder Brows uses a combination of dots and shading to fill or enhance the brow whilst creating depth, thickness and symmetry. It is more commonly known to give a make-up look and feel as opposed to a realistic look with Microblading.
How to Prevent Powder Brows from Fading
This is a semi-permanent technique, so unlike permanent brows the pigments are not inserted for a lifetime. This means they will fade overtime, but abiding to aftercare advice will preserve the brows and the fresher look for longer. After the complete cycle of treatments, I would recommend a top-up every 1-3 years depending on skin type.
Most pundits argue this is an advantage over permanent brows as pigment inserted deep into the skin tend to wear down after 2-3 years and look discoloured and pigmentlike-green, whereas semi-permanent allows you to top-up pigments; reshaping and re-defining the look and feel of the brow – if you feel like a change. Or alternatively, simply top-up to refresh an existing look!
Combination Brows
My personal favourite. Combines the Phibrows Microblading with the powdered effect to fill in the little gaps around the pigment incisions. This creates a fuller and incredibly realistic looking eyebrow.
Considered by many as the “ultimate brow treatment, A Combi Brow is one of my favourites, great for those looking for an extremely all-natural, yet slightly powder looking eyebrow. It’s suited for all skin types, and the ratio of hair strokes to powder can be adapted to desired look, skin type, colouring, bone structure. It’s entirely customised for each individual so no two brows are the same!
By combining the two, powder fill, with natural hair strokes, the little surfaces around the pigments are filled resulting in an incredibly defined and natural filled eyebrow. Not as realistic and natural looking as individual microblading hair strokes, and not as solid and dramatic as the powder brow but a perfect blend of the two.

Microblading Eyebrows lasts between 12-18 months. Combi brows tend to last a little longer than microblading, as more pigment is used throughout. Typically, 16-36 months and Powder Brows last between 24-36 months. It’s important to note this varies according to your skin type and your skins healing process.
You must be over the age of 18 and not have any medical contraindications. I will discuss this as part of the consultation and you will also receive a medical form to complete. A test patch is required 24 hours prior to treatment. This is to ensure there are no adverse reactions from the pigments and anaesthetic. I am extremely thorough with everything I do so you’re in safe hands!
The treatment can last several years, but is not permanent. The number of years it lasts depend on skin type, tone, sun exposure/lifestyle and any medication. The best thing about semi-permanent eyebrows is the pigment is designed to breakdown over a number of years allowing you to change or refresh your brow. Whereas permanent eyebrows, despite having a longer lifecycle. the pigment does not break down and overtime often fades and discolours.
I recommend a colour boost 12-18 months after your initial treatment.
Anything from 1 – 2½ hours depending on requirements and desires.
A test-patch is required 48 hours prior to treatment. Following the initial consultation and test-patch I will prep you on your healing process, what to expect and answer any questions you may have. If you feel unsure about anything, you can refer to the pre-treatment advice and aftercare forms.
